The story

A Tipperary heritage town on the Suir, long shaped by the Butlers, whose Cahir Castle sits on a small island in the river. The Church of Ireland parish church is one of only three church buildings John Nash designed in Ireland, and the Swiss Cottage is close by. It was one of the first towns on Bianconi's coach routes, and Quaker milling families built a meeting house on Abbey Street in 1833.
